Here at Heliosa we have been delivering the best quality care for over 20 years. Heliosa Nursing home is a small, independent family owned establishment operating in a quiet and picturesque area of Congleton.
The home is a beautiful black and white building of character, set in private gardens, perfectly located only 2 miles from Congleton town centre and all local amenities.
All our staff teams are highly trained and experienced with Registered General Nurses, Registered Mental Nurses, and Care Assistants who have achieved or are working towards the National Care Certificate introduced in 2015 to ensure high standards.
The home is a provider for Cheshire East Council and validated by the Commission for Social Care.
The Home Manager
Jo Bowerbank is a very forward-thinking, highly experienced and professional nurse. With years of working in elderly nursing settings under her belt, and multiple qualifications and training in dementia, stroke care, end of life training etc. She is totally committed to achieving the highest possible standards to both the residents and staff at Heliosa.
A very driven and determined person, Jo is able to offer a proactive management approach and a very visible presence in the home. She is a very optimistic and approachable person, who’s happy demeanour tends to spread around the home… the residents especially like her eye-catching style!
